Picnic Tables and Parks

I didn't get much chance to take pictures this week, so the set is pretty small:

Using a table for things like sitting and eating is boring.

Visiting the park with some friends.

Taking a moment to contemplate the glory of the park.

I use a Nikon D40 with the 18-55mm kit lens. For the money, a very good low-end DSLR--I like it a lot.

But you can get good pictures with any camera, really. I've gotten some great pics with my iPhone on occasion, it just takes a little more planning to frame the shot properly and to take the fixed focal length and aperture into account. I also end up having to do a little more work in post-processing to get the colors and shading right, but not as much as you might think.
